eWeather HDF is a comprehensive weather application with a highly accurate forecast and barometer feature. Its array of unique weather widgets includes a weather clock widget, storm radar widget, sun and moon widget, barometer widget, weather alerts, moon phase, earthquake widget, and a ten-day forecast, among others.

The high level of accuracy in the forecast is achieved by utilizing data from two reliable meteorological agencies, along with a vast network of meteorological stations and unique information processing techniques.

The barometer app offers both atmospheric pressure and sea level pressure measurements. The included barometric pressure tracker provides valuable insights into pressure changes over the past and future 24 hours. Rising pressure indicates sunny weather, while a drop in pressure suggests rain.

The fishing barometer feature combines a graph of pressure changes with sunrise and sunset times, moonrise and moonset times, an hourly forecast of rain and wind, and a tides table. This combination of data assists in predicting ideal fishing conditions.

eWeather HDF maintains an extensive archive of sea and air temperature, precipitation levels, and cloud cover data for any location worldwide over the past few years. This archive is beneficial for planning upcoming trips, as users can compare current temperatures and precipitation to those recorded in previous years.

The earthquake app provides users with an earthquake map that includes earthquake alert notifications filtered by magnitude, depth, and distance from their location. The earthquake tracker data is sourced from the USGS.

The app also displays temperature, precipitation, and barometric pressure icons in the status bar. Users can customize notifications for wind, earthquakes, humidity, UV index, geomagnetic storms, moon phases (filtered by low or high thresholds), and more.

Severe weather alerts, tornado tracking, hail probability assessments, heavy rain warnings, and wind alerts are all provided by reputable sources such as the National Weather Service (NWS) and NOAA. The app also offers hurricane tracking and typhoon information through GDACS.

By utilizing its analog or digital clock feature, eWeather HDF can function as a home weather station. This functionality comes in handy by repurposing old phones or tablets that are no longer in use and turning them into a convenient wall-mounted or stand-based weather display device.

The lunar calendar feature offers users valuable information such as the lunar day, moon phases, sun and moon eclipses, sunrise and sunset times, equinoxes, solstices, daylight hours, times before sunset and sunrise, and more.

In addition to temperature and precipitation, the hourly forecast also includes air humidity, wind speed and direction, dew point, road visibility, perceived temperature, and a METAR report.

A forecast of the level of ultraviolet radiation (UV index) on an hourly basis allows users to plan their outdoor activities to avoid sunburn effectively.

The precipitation map features a weather radar (specifically for the US and Japan) with real-time data and future forecasts. The weather map includes various layers such as a wind map, temperature map, satellite images, and more. The NOAA radar widget can be customized from 1x1 to 5x5 in size. The radar app provides rain radar forecasts up to 60 minutes ahead.

Space weather information is readily available via a geomagnetic index that includes geomagnetic storm alerts.

The app also offers ice warnings and tracks freshly fallen snow to ensure users are aware of possible transportation issues that may arise in the morning hours.

The air quality feature contains data on ozone concentration (O3), fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and coarse particulate matter (PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitrogen oxide (NO), carbon monoxide (CO), and more. Data is sourced from reputable organizations such as AirNow, Copernicus, ECMWF, and others.

The tide app provides tide tables for select locations, while the sea temperature is derived from buoy and satellite measurements.

The app utilizes location data to display current conditions in the status bar and widgets for the user's current location, even when the app is not actively in use.

With eWeather HDF, users can always stay informed about the local weather conditions for the week to come, helping them plan accordingly.
